Social Computing: Supporting Grounding in Communication with IoT-based Knowledge Sharing and Learning

知識經濟與共享經濟等新經濟模式已不是抽象的概念，透過網路媒介以及共享平台的發展，工作者擁有越來越自由的工作時間以及決定接案的權利，但在自由工作的背後也面臨新的問題，例如平台提供的獎勵可能促使工作者長時間工作、在特殊時段工作以及在不適合工作的身心狀態下工作，進而影響工作者的身心健康。在交通運輸領域，無線計程車與Uber所提供的交通服務也遭遇同樣問題。如何改善職業駕駛的工時以及身心狀態，不僅影響工作者自身的健康，也影響公共以及交通的安全。IoX中心組成社群運算(Social Computing)研究團隊，結合資訊、社會科學以及醫療資訊等橫跨不同領域的學者與研究人員，針對職業駕駛設計與改進IoT健康感測以及輔助系統，探討如何透過線上合作的機制促進職業駕駛對於自身身心狀態的覺察，透過社群以及親友等社會輔助，有效改善超時工作以及危險駕駛等問題。
